Hunter River

Hunter River once had a train station which may have inspired Bright River. L. M. Montgomery usually went to Charlottetown by taking the train at Hunter River or Kensington. Trains no longer run on PEI, but the Confederation Trail, a hiking trail which retraces the routes of the train tracks, passes through Hunter River.
