Westfield Heritage Village is a pioneer village where Bright River Station, the Hammond home and sawmill, orphanage bedroom, Lawson’s General Store, church, cemetary and a backdrop for Avonlea in the Anne movies. The village holds an Anne of Green Gables day, gives tours, and has a collection of Anne film artifacts.

Bright River Station/ Jerseyville Railway Station

This station was built in 1896 for the village of Jerseyville, servicing a train line between Hamilton and Brantford.

Sawmill
The Hammond Sawmill in Anne of Green Gables, where Mr. Hammond dies after fighting with his workers.

This is a replica building with equipment from the 1870s.

D’Aubigny’s Inn
The Hammond house in Anne of Green Gables. The interior was used as the Hammond’s kitchen.

Originally built in 1820, located outside of Branford on the road to London.

McRoberts Dry Goods Store
Upstairs interior used for the scene in Anne of Green Gables where Anne is in the orphanage, and is talking to her window friend, Katie.
