Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel (originally broadcasted as Anne of Avonlea) is a television movie produced and directed by Kevin Sullivan. It is a sequel to Sullivan’s Anne of Green Gables (1985), and is adapted from the novels Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, and Anne of Windy Poplars. It was released on the Disney channel on May 19th, 1987. It was also released in theatres in Israel, Europe and Japan.

The film is followed by Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story (2000), and Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning (2008).
