L. M. Montgomery published 20 novels, 2 short story collections, a volume of poetry, and co-authored a non-fiction history book during her lifetime. After her death, short stories and poetry she had written for magazines and newspapers were collected and published. In addition, a number of biographies (including her autobiography and journals) and literary criticism have been published about L. M. Montgomery and her writings.
