Timelines
Montgomery’s novels are so full of references to the Victorian, Edwardian, and post-war eras that fans often wonder when the stories take place. “Historical” timelines can be worked out for most of the novels, using larger world events (such as World War I) as a reference point.
These chronologies are created for fun. Keep in mind that Montgomery did not always write her books to take place on specific dates and in specific years.
