In Emily’s Quest, Emily has elected to stay at New Moon to pursue her art, while her peers depart for professional training. Romance, death, jealousy and drama stir her life and writings in the environs of a small P.E.I. farm. She encounters, of course, despairing failures and rewarding successes by her pen. Her pride and dedication to her ambition perhaps hinders her equally strong desire for true love.
